Home Page Our Pricing About Us Frequently Asked Questions
  What is your photographic style?
I consider my style to be elegant documentary photography. I work best mixing observervation and interaction, capturing moments as they unfold while providing a bit of direction when necessary. My goal is a relaxed and naural atmosphere, never rigid or contrived.

Do you photograph in color or black and white?
Both. All images are available in color and black and white.

Given your focus on documentary-style photography, will you still consider taking some "traditional" group photos?
Yes, I know group shots are important to you and your family. It's best to keep a short list so I can focus on the unique moments happening all around me; the expressions and emotions that make you special.

What type of equipment do you use?
I photograph weddings and portraits digitally using Canon professional equipment. I am always prepared with backup equipment. For indoor events or sessions I may use studio lights if I feel it will enhance the images.

What do you charge and do you offer packages or custom packages?
The packages and products I offer are detailed on the pricing page. I am happy to consider customizing a package to include the elements most important to you.

Are negatives or high resolution images included in the price of packages?
High resolution images are included in the price of wedding packages only.

Do you have an assistant?
Yes, I do. Having an extra pair of hands to help me with equipment and other technical details keeps things moving smoothly, and allows me to focus on capturing the unique moments of your day.

Do you charge travel fees?
I am happy to travel up to one hour at no additional charge. For locations farther away travel fees may apply. I will always provide an advance quote for travel fees.

How far in advance should I contact you to reserve a date for a wedding?
Ideally, you should book as far in advance as possible. I only shoot a limited number of portraits and weddings each year so dates book up quickly. All dates are reserved on a first come first served basis. Feel free to send an e-mail to check for availability.

How do I reserve the date for my wedding?
To formally reserve your date, I need to receive both your deposit, and your signature on our contract agreement.
